Rakuten fixed the Issue

I ran into a problem and the service from Rakuten was awesome. They quickly resolved the issue and I rec’d my rebate. Thank you Rakuten!

Customer service is quick and…

Customer service is quick and efficient. Purchased Peacock TV and got the rebate on it, but it hadn't showed up, emailed them they asked for my email address as all I gave them was the order confirmation and number. Within a couple hours the rebate was issued!

Amazing Customer Service!

Not only is the Chrome extension tool very easy to use when doing some online shopping, but their customer service team is amazing! There have been a few instances of missing cashback for purchases, and their team took care of those issues promptly!

another garbage woke company that…

another garbage woke company that stalking other people lives. Getting informed by Woke Disney,

under the same characteristic traits as Disney. I think Ebay is affiliated with Rakuten they do the same sexual stalking and other things

• Cyber stalking
• Organisational or institutional abuse - Abusive and disrespectful attitudes towards people using the service, Lack of respect for dignity and privacy
• Modern slavery
• Sexual exploitation through cyberstallk

I'll use a different service that doesn't do organizational abuse with others, many of other abuse like emails, phone notifications, Ads etc... and informing other companies abusing their "influential". Not Robots who cant make their own choices. These IT workers, Executives are miserable to get raises or rank up on the corporate ladder for doing Internet Dark Pattern because they think its harder to get caught on the internet and be favored by whoever is informing them. when they are just puppets themselves

Oh dear what a shambles…

Oh dear what a shambles. A great example of a company that pretends it is the dog's undercarriage technologically but in reality a complete pile of ****.

I felt so sorry for the first line support I spoke to. Nothing was his fault — he just works at the sharp end (and probably more than he wants).

I had a disputed a charge from early in…

I had a disputed a charge from early in the year. I had asked for an itemized statement to show the amount removed and why the disputed amount was showing on my credit card. The lady I spoke to in the fraud department was very rude and ended up hanging up on me. I was never rude but I think the fact she couldn’t make sense of their error she felt defeated. She then told me she could not give an itemized receipt but that I needed to pay them. I have never missed a credit card payment! I will no longer have an account with them. I will have to do my best to try to remove this off my credit report. No one should have to pay for charges that aren’t theirs and should always be entitled to an itemized statement.

I’ve been with Rakuten! I’ve with them for seven years and I love their cashback their customer service is Outstanding! I love when they give cash back on retail stores dining in they are awesome and get back to you right away

Unlimited Referral bonus Runaround

I was referred to this site from a retailer and signup bonus and cash back was immediately put on my account. I referred some close freinds because they would also receive a signup bonus and I would receive additional bonus (unlimited) for referrals. Here is where things get a little suspect. I had to contact them for the first referral bonus which I eventually received. The second referral is not showing and when I tried to report it I received a message stating the email address was not found despite the fact that my freind joined on my referral and received their signup bonus. This one is still pending with customer support. Just something to think about before spamming your freinds and family.

Update: Rakuten tier II support still maintains my freind was referred by someone else and now hides behind privacy laws. My freind has now opened a support ticket to question where the referral bonus went. We know 100% the referral link I sent is what was used.

Rebate denied

Up until now I had been happy with Rakuten. However, I just made a sizeable purchase from Lenovo via Rakuten and was denied my also sizeable rebate. I have a screen print showing that my "Cash Back is in the works" but neither Rakuten nor Lenovo will honor the full amount. To its credit, Rakuten did reimburse a little over 1/4 of the funds but I would really like the full amount - the 10% discount was the only reason I purchase two laptops that day. I have contacted Rakuten - they say Lenovo denied the rebate. I contact Lenovo, they will not even consider anything beyond 30 days. I did not realize that I had to double-check Lenovo / Rakuten's work to be sure that my "cash back" really was in the works. I thought being notified that it was in the works was good enough. So...if you are going to use Rakuten for a major purchase, check, check and then check again that you are not being lied to about you cash being on the way. Furthermore, don't trust all vendors to honor their discount commitments. I am disappointed in Rakuten for apparently dropping the ball but even more disappointed in Lenovo for hiding behind policy to avoid honoring its commitments.

Hey Max! Hope all is well over there man! Can you ask your leadership team about implementing a "Highest Cashback Guarantee? I am so surprised that you dont do this already. Price matching would be YUUGE! Its basically Event Horizon Total Domination Point of No Return for all customers. Everyone will bow before you. Ebates is DA BOSS of all shopping portals! The tracking accuracy and customer service is TOP NOTCH. The competition should seriously watch their backs I really dont want to use any other shopping portal based on rate. You guys totally blew my mind already. Its like Costco customer service. Or maybe Nordstroms? You have to tell your leadership to match other portals. Then ALL traffic would go to you. This will allow all your customer to NEVER use anyone else again. You dont have to match everyone, but the major players should be price matched! Please MAKE IT SO!

Compared deals between expedia on ebates and regular expedia sites. Ebates is ~10% expensive which is the discount ebates is offering. Is it a scam?

As with any shopping experience shopping around might reveal a better price at a site that isn't part of the Ebates network. Ebates is great and when the best price is through one of their partner retailers it is even better as a percentage of your purchase will come back to you. I have found times when the best price is at a site that isn't in partnership with Ebates but doing the math matters, because sometimes the better deal is to go through Ebates to get the percent back along with any special offer, like free shipping. I always do my homework and have been very happy when I use Ebates.

Ebates is an -in between- website. By using it you are able to purchase items from the company you want and gain an additional rebate for this purchase. If for instance you wish to purchase from Holiday inn you can access holiday inn directly or you can use ebates and access holiday inn. Either way the price on holiday inns' website will be the same (given that you attempt it the same day etc). So ebates does not establish the prices. The companies establish the prices. Ebates is just a tool to access the website of companies and gain extra credit for each purchase. So, it is on you to decide whether air Canada, Lufthansa or Expedia gives you the best deal for your trip and then after you have made your decision you can check whether ebates has that company and if it has then use ebates for your purchase. The price will be exactly the same and you will gain an extra credit for it upon completion of your trip.

Don't know for sure although another consumer thinks so. All I know is that they did not reimburse me for all of my trandactions even after I emailed the requested proof of purchases which I made through their website. I mostly think it is an unqualified and uncaring customer service department.
